After a huge broken heart, after the person I adored for a year declared having a new lover, finally I could get back on my feet. Only after a week of cry and depression. That's a quick recovery.
I thought it was harder since for the past 1 year, to make this person happy, to take care of this person is the reason of my life; to see this person, to be with this person is the joy of my life.
(to be noted that I was only in unrequited love with this person)
Maybe below is the ticket to the highway to the quick recovery (wrote here for reference to those broken-hearts, and for my own reference for future broken heart).
1. Completely forget about that person we adored. It was hard though. While we can remove things than make us recall that person (for this I removed the Facebook update and hid the small Indian elephant from my desk), but often the thought of that person comes. To tackle with this, I convinced myself that that person was now happy with the person that person loved, and well taken care, so there was no need to think about or concern about that person anymore. Convinced myself that that person completely didn't need me.
2. Friends. Thanks to my small friend Jay, cried over him on the phone that day. Having a friend to be there for us is really a great help. Thanks also to my pretty friend Yukari. Making new friends helped me too. Being nice to people surround us helped too.
3. Being busy with activities. On sleepless nights, I watched Brothers and Sisters videos, and read 1000 pages novel Shantaram. I wrote my traveling blog. I went to the gym to work out, not only making me feel well but also got me more confident with my appearance.
With this recipe, I won't be afraid to fall in love and break heart again :p
