Just one week before the day, they changed the public holiday... so we got 2 days, 17 and 18 December...On 17, I went to Al Rayyan to see the tent for National Holiday events... the main events, the camel dressing competition and the horse race was held during the week day, so I could not watched it, but still I decided to see the place on 17...
The interesting one, was not in the Al Rayyan, but on the way there.
So many large tents were there, by group or tribe or family...
In each tent, dancing was performed...
I went to Corniche that night, so many local cars, painted with national flags and the pictures of the king, parading the Corniche.
They were dancing, shouting, ...
the next day, was military parade in Corniche...
the festival was ended with fireworks in the Corniche....
カタールに来て3年目にして、初めて国立記念イベントを見に行った。
仕事でいけなかったけど、平日の一週間、キャメルドレッシングやレースなどのイベントが行われた。
前日の17日に、会社が休みやったので、町に出たら、大きなテントを設けたイベント会場がいろんなところで見られて、部族やファミリーやグループで、それぞれこの日を祝ってた。その会場で、踊りや食事、アウトドアパーティが開かれた。その夜、道路で、国旗色で飾られた現地人の車たちが暴れだした～
当日18日の朝に、海沿いの道路に軍隊のパレードが行われた。本当にいろんな軍隊と乗り物が出場した。戦車も出たし、馬もラクダも。バギーも戦闘機もヘリコプターも空に出場。
最後に、王様がベンツに乗って現れた。面白いパレードでした。
夜は、海沿いで、大きな花火大会が行われた。
