Budapest - Prague - Bratislava

Itinerary

31 Jul - 2 Aug 2010 : Budapest (Hungary)
2-3 Aug 2010 : Bratislava (Slovakia)
3-5 Aug 2010 : Prague (Czech)
5-7 Aug 2010: Amsterdam (Netherland)

Summary
I have been wanting to visit these regions for long and I bought the Japanese guide book Arukikata since 2007. Finally I got chance to visit this Central Europe.
Since I had only 1 week, I decided to go to the most famous Prague and nearby, so that I chose Budapest and Bratislava.
I love Budapest with its thermal baths, nice Chain Bridge and old city. Transportation is also good with tram, bus, and subway. The price is less than Prague, and you can pee for free (1 thing you can’t do in Prague). Stayed in Couchsurfing Peter’s place, a large apartment near the Hero Square.
Bratislava is not bad, with pretty citizen and pretty old city. Stayed in Couchsurfing Samuel, in university dormitory.
Prague, claimed now as No. 2 city in Europe visited by tourists, was pretty, but costly. Nothing is free here, including Tourist City Map and toilets. Stayed 1 night in a nice hostel Czech Inn and 1 night in Couchsurfing Zdenek.
Here are my five nicest things in the 3 countries:
1. Soaking in thermal baths in Budapest.
2. Bone Church at Kutna Hora, 1 hour from Prague.
3. View of Chain Bridge and Budapest old city at night.
4. The statues on Charles Bridge in Prague.
5. Wandering about Bratislava old city
